Exciting News!
We are thrilled to share that our school has been awarded a Local School Nature Grant, made possible by players of the People’s Postcode Lottery.

This fantastic opportunity will allow our pupils to benefit from new resources designed to enhance outdoor learning experiences and support our broader vision of creating more outdoor learning spaces at school.

As part of the grant, we have received:
– An outdoor classroom set to create a learning space for all weather conditions.
– A climate kit, including rain gauges, infrared thermometers, and other tools to help students explore and deepen their understanding of climate and environmental concepts.
– Outdoor benches for seating and reflection.
– A small world play set, encouraging pupils to work together, create stories, and fuel their imaginations.
– Additionally, our staff will receive special training to support outdoor learning throughout the year, ensuring that children can learn in ways that cater to all learning styles.

All of this brings us closer to achieving our vision of expanding outdoor learning opportunities, enriching students’ knowledge of the environment, and offering varied learning experiences to meet the needs of every child.
This exciting project is run by Learning through Landscapes and generously funded by People’s Postcode Lottery.
